Pool

25-yards/6-lane pool.  Colorado Electronic Timing and Meet Manager will be used.  Please send entries on disk if possible with paper hard copy.

Entry Deadline

Entries must be received by October 2, 2006.  All times must be in yards.  Please mail early.  Mail entries to Anita Murphy, 1608 Albert Street, New Castle, PA  16105. Email nccyswim@yahoo.com

Please include a contact person for warm-up times.

Meet Times

Meet will begin at 830 AM. Warm-ups will begin at 715 am. Teams will be assigned lanes. Coaches will be contacted a week prior to the meet with warm-up times, they will also be posted on our website www.geocities.com/nccyswim

Coaches meeting will be at 800 am on deck.

Eligibility

Swimmers may swim an unlimited number of individual events and two relays.  Swimmers age on December 1, 2006 will determine what age group swimmer is eligible to swim in.  PLEASE NOTE SWIMMERS MAY SWIM UP FOR RELAYS AND RELAYS ARE ANY COMBINATION OF MALE, FEMALE OR MIXED.

Parents Relay

A parents/coaches 200 Freestyle Relay will be held. The relay must be mixed and consist of swimmers over 18. Entry fee is $8.00 per relay team. Awards will be given to the top three finishers. Let’s see who has the fastest parents/coaches

Entry Fees

$3.00 per individual event, $12.00 per relay team.  Please attempt to send one check per team.  Make checks payable to the NCY Swim Team Parents Club.  Hy-Tek Meet Manager disk entries will be accepted with a paper copy.  Results will be returned on the same disk.  Entries are limited to the first 300 swimmers. On deck entries will be accepted before the meet starts as space allows. Fees must be paid at time of entry.

Safety

Footwear must be worn throughout the facility.

Seeding

All 10 & under swimmers will be seated in the gym. 11 and Over swimmers are to report to the blocks.

Spectator Seating

Spectator seating is available overlooking the pool.  The gymnasium is also available for your use.

Rules and Conduct

USS rules apply.  Coaches will be responsible for the conduct of his/her swimmers.  Please be responsible for the clean up of your team area.  Only swimmers, coaches and meet personnel will be permitted on pool deck.

Awards

Trophies will be awarded for individual events for 1 through 3, medals for events 4 through 6, rosettes for events 7 through 9, and ribbons for events 10 through 12.  Individual High Point trophies will be awarded for each age group, male and female places 1 through 6.  Medals will be awarded for relays 1 through 6.

Swim Apparel

Swimwear and accessories will be available for purchase from Swimmers Network.

Food Concession

A variety of breakfast and lunch items will be available for purchase.
