Vermilion YMCA TORPEDO INVITATIONAL

 

DATE:             SUNDAY – NOVEMBER 5, 2006  (Always Held on the First Sunday of November)

 

LOCATION:    Cleveland State Univeristy - 8 Lane Pool - Colorado Timing System

 

STARTING TIMES:     AM SESSION:  6 & Under, 8 & Under, 10 & Under, 11-12 BOYS only

(Please note 6 & U age group for Free and Back events.)

                        Warm-ups:        8:00am – 8:45am

                        MEET BEGINS:  9:00AM

 

PM SESSION: 11-12 GIRLS only, 13-14, Open Age Groups

(Please note Open Age Group.  Any age can swim these events)                   

                        Warm-ups begin immediately after AM session ends.  NOT before 1:00pm

                        *NOTE:  There will be NO Clerk of Course or Cards for the PM Session.

 

RULES:            NCAA rules as stated in the NEO YMCA League rulebook.

 

ENTRY DEADLINE:               All paper or fax entries must be postmarked or sent by OCTOBER 28, 2006.

ENTRY FEES:             Swimmers may swim (4) Individual events & (2) Relays.

$3 per individual event and $10 per relay.

MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Vermilion Family YMCA Torpedo Swim Team.

Deck entries accepted on day of meet:  $5.00 individual, $12.00 relay.

Entry money can be given the day of the meet.

 

AWARDS:                   1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd place Team Trophies (Scoring 1-16 places)

                                    Medals:  1^st – 3^rd all Events (12 and Under only)

Ribbons:  4^th – 12^th All events (12 and Under only)

 

COACHES:                  Packets will be in hospitality room upon arrival.  There will be a coaches meeting

                                    prior to AM session for Coaches and Assistants only.  You are responsible for the

conduct and supervision of your swimmers.  Please check your swimmers area in the gym before leaving.

 

ADMISSIONS:             $2.00 per non-swimmer.  Heat sheets are $2.00 each.

 

CONCESSIONS:          Available throughout meet
