Pool

 25-yards/6 - lane pool. Colorado Electronic Timing and Meet Manager will be used. Please send entries on disk if possible with paper hard copy. Email entries are also encouraged.

Entry Deadline

 Entries must be received by October 6,2007. All times must be in yards. Please mail early. Mail entries to Anita Murphy, 1608 Albert St. New Castle, PA 16105. Email         entries to nccyswim@yahoo.com

Meet Times

Meet will begin at 9:00AM.

Warm-ups will begin at 8:00AM.

Girls will warm-up from 8:00AM-8:20AM

Boys from 8:20AM - 8:50AM.

Coaches meeting will be at 8:30AM on deck.

Eligibility

Swimmers age on December 1, 2007 will determine age group swimmer is eligible swim in.

PLEASE NOTE SWIMMERS MAY SWIM UP FOR RELAYS ONLY. RELAYS ARE ANY COMBINATION OF MALE, FEMALE, OR MIXED.

Parent/Coach Relay

A parent/coach 100 Freestyle T-shirt       Relay will be held. The relay may be any combination of male, female, or mixed and must consist of swimmers over 18. Entry fee  is 8.00 per relay team. Awards will be given to the top three finishers.

Entry Fees

$3.00 per individual event, $12.00 per relay team. Please attempt to send one check per team. Make checks payable to the NCY Swim Team Parents Club. Hy-Tek Meet Manager disk entries will be accepted with a paper copy. Results will be returned on the same disk. Entries are limited to the first 300 swimmers. There will be NO on deck entries accepted this year.

Safety

Footwear must be worn throughout the facility.

Programs

$5.00

Seeding

All 12 & Under swimmers will be seated on deck. Juniors and Seniors are to report to the blocks. NO RELAYS WILL BE SEEDED. COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING THEIR RELAYS BEHIND THE BLOCKS.

Spectator Seating

Spectator seating is available overlooking the Pool. The gymnasium is also available for your use. FOOD AND/OR DRINKS ARE PERMITTED IN THE SPECATATOR SEATING AND CAFETERIA AREAS ONLY. NO FOOD/DRINKS ARE PERMITTED IN THE GYMNASIUM, THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Rules and Conduct

 Current USS/YMCA rules apply. Coaches   will be responsible for the conduct of his/her swimmers. Please be responsible for the clean up of your team area. ONLY swimmers, coaches, and meet personnel will be permitted on pool deck. Any inquiries must be made by the coach and directed to the meet director. Videotapes are not permitted for review.

Awards

Preps and under: 1-3 Medals, 4-6 Rosettes, 7-12 Ribbons

Juniors and Seniors: 1-3 Medals

Relays: 1-3 Medals

Individual High Point Trophies : 1-6 Preps and Under. 1-3 Juniors and Seniors.

NOTE : OPEN EVENTS WILL BE AWARDED BY AGE GROUP AND WILL COUNT FOR HIGH POINT AWARDS.

Swim Apparel

Swimwear and accessories will be available for purchase from Swimmers Network.

Food Concession

A variety of breakfast and lunch items will be available for purchase. NO FOOD OR DRINK IS PERMITTED IN THE GYMNASIUM, THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
